Hey guys, I could use some advice. My car’s A/C started acting up last summer — it blew cold air for a few minutes and then suddenly turned warm. I thought it was just low on refrigerant, but after topping it off, it didn’t really fix the problem. Now that winter’s coming, I’m also worried the heater might fail too. I’ve heard it’s best to get the system serviced regularly, but I’m not exactly sure what that includes. What are the most common issues with car A/C and heating systems, and how do you keep them from getting worse?

This is a really good reminder. I don’t think most people realize how important it is to maintain their A/C and heater until they stop working completely. I used to assume the system didn’t need attention unless something broke, but now I get why it’s part of regular car care. It’s one of those things that seems small but makes a huge difference when you’re driving in bad weather.
