Who are the conductors and how were they chosen?

The conductors are nationally and internationally known musicians/teachers who have reputations of success working with young musicians. They are chosen by the NEMFA managers for the respective ensembles (chorus, band, and orchestra), and voted on by the NEMFA executive board.
